Don't know where to start? Are you having problems finding a database software package to fit your company's needs? Do you have an existing dBase or FoxPro application that needs some attention? Our first job is to find out what you need. Our experience allows us to assess your situation and recommend an action that is a sound investment today and also one for your future data requirements. The following process diagram will let you know what
to expect from your Microsoft Certified Professional. As you run your
mouse over the blue items, we will explain the process in text below.

Quality, professionalism, and experience is what we have to offer. Move your mouse over the items in the chart above and I will explain our Data Management System Build Process
TBase will meet with you several times to determine data information and end user requirements. I will try where possible to minimize changes to existing procedures."
Then (in my office) I create some database structures - ie: data tables and the fields of data that each table will hold. I review the data to be captured/stored with management and the users to make sure that we haven't left out some critical data.
The first forms designed are those that will be used by the user to input and update the data. Once that is functional, I meet with management and users again and let them try a it out (via laptop demonstration). Requested changes are noted and implemented into the continuing system build. Periodically management and the users receive progress reviews so changes can be made if needed. This is usually done by emailing screen shots.
Your Report Specifications are obtained by TBase during our initial meetings are modified as the system progresses. Once the system is functional, reports and data extracts are designed with samples being emailed back and forth until you get exactly what you want. As new needs arise, additional reports and data extracts are easily added to the system.
When the system is complete, I travel to your office and install the application. All workstations that need access to the application are set up (ie: shortcuts, etc). Training is part of the system. I sit down with your personnel offering guidance, and demonstrating full functionality. Normally, the interaction during the design and development process minimize the need for extensive training. This is a system designed per your specifications in cooperation with your users.
Technical Support is a matter of pride. We do not anticipate problems, but we are prepared in the event you require our assistance. When required, we'll be in your office and working with your support personnel. Once back in my office, I take phone calls from the users helping them when required, fixing problems that they find, etc.
Testing is a continuous process. If the system is such that it can be installed and used by the users in segments, then I make periodic installations at the clients site so that they can begin using the partially completed system. This is the best way for the system to be tested...by a user really using it!
